Please chance me. I know that a majority of these schools are definite reaches. Additionally, please suggest other schools to which you might suggest that I apply at.

my school does not rank but i would guess that i am in the top 40 percent, unfortunately my grades reflect a rather lazy work ethic through much of high school

your gpa and ACT score are way to low for the caliber of schools your list.

Where should I apply? I am looking for schools that are as high of a caliber as I can get into, i mean well isn't everybody. I would also like a school that has decent Investment Banking recruiting.

Attending a top boarding school is good, but your low GPA and the (assumed) fact that there are many other students in your class who will be applying to these schools with a higher GPA (and rank), and most likely higher test scores cancels it out, so to speak.

I think your best shots (very low reach/high match schools) are:

Kenyon
Reed
Bates
NYU (Arts & Sciences)
U Michigan

...assuming your weighted GPA is over 4.0. Michigan state would be a safety, of course.

Williams is, as sadiqhassan says above, a very difficult school to get into; their admissions process seems arbitrary at many times.
The rest are big reaches for you.
