I scored an 8000 on that little point thingy for UCSD

Take the SAT as well as the ACT, and submit both. Your GPA is less than desirable, so you will need to write a damn good essay. Take this with a grain of salt though - you're only top 25% at the moment you really want to make sure you get into the top 5%. Out of State admission is insanely tough, but best of luck to you (flopsy will put in his chance).

You need to understand that admission to UCLA and UCB out of state is as hard as an Ivy, and you will not get a URM preference. You'd be much better off looking at other good colleges.

Yes, even though you took classes here. Plenty of people take classes at UCLA. You're going to have try extremely hard. And there will be no recommendation letter unless they specifically request it.

Not a good idea to attend this school OOS. You would get better aid at the privates of the same prestige and selectivity.

there's already some chance thread floating around, but you're a reach

taking summer courses at ucla only means you were either rich enough to fork over the money to do it or found someone to fork over the money for you (i doubt its seen any higher than someone who took summer courses at a local community college)
