<p>School doesn't rank. Rigorous public school in Northern California. Class size ~700</p>

<p>SAT: 2170 (710/710/750)
SAT II: US Hist. 710, Chem 730, Math 2C 700</p>

<p>AP Tests: US Hist 4, Chem 5, English 5</p>

<p>Taking 3 AP's this year</p>

<p>Stanford EPGY Biotechnology- I think I have a hook here...it was absolutely amazing. I want to enter the BioTech field now for sure.
Volunteered in hospital in Bangladesh during summer
Research Assistant to doctor at U. of Boston on enzymatic side-effects of delayed appendectomy operations.
Scraped onto JV Water Polo for one year...I'm not a very sporty person.</p>

<p>The obvious Achilles heel here is the GPA...hopefully, the various extracurriculars w. a continuous thread in either Business and Science/Medicine will help. But I hear they aren't big on extracirriculars?</p>

<p>They don't look at EC's but you'll get in for sure..</p>

<p>you'll definitely get in. most likely no scholarships(are you even eligible with a sub 3.7?</p>

<p>apply as soon as possible, it takes like 10 minutes(trust me i just did it)</p>

<p>Hmm...interesting. it's okay if they don't give me any money, since I'm a Canadian citizen w. a greencard. DO they look at recs? Because I'm pretty confident of a shining rec, so should I toss it into the package?</p>

<p>What package? you don't send in a package..it's literally just an online application. they don't look at EC's at all. I don't think they'll care if you're an Asian male either. do you honestly have any doubt that you'll get in? financial aid is a lot tougher...McGill just simply doesn't have a lot of money to give out. so you're applying to the science faculty? it's not going to be easy...</p>
