I've done research twice, during my sophmore and junior year's, of the science fair nature but not just a science fair poster but a real research paper and submitted it to some acadamy of science, and got some awards for it there

basically no work or volunteering outside of clubs , write decent essays depending on topic

Your transcript is competitive, but not exceptional for Northwestern.
Your ACT is excellent (let's see how you do with the writing section), but your Critical Reading SAT is extremely low and your English AP is unexceptional. Your math SAT is "in range," but again not exceptional. The good news is the 5 on the BC Calc AP exam, which should more than cover you.
If you meet your expectations on the upcoming SAT, that would be helpful.
I think the science research looks very interesting. The rest of the ECs less so.

Research is good, but SAT is quite low. Science/Engineering students tend to have 1400+. Definitely apply.
