<p>Stronger EC's would probably benefit you more than higher scores. That'll let you stand out.</p>

<p>i'd say match anytime. as long as you don't write about "pushing through the pain" while running.</p>

<p>nah, essay is about the moving to the U.S. when I was in 4th grade.</p>

<p>Would it be bad if the EC 150 was about running- changing lifestyles?</p>

<p>mkt16a17, what is wrong with writing about "pushing through the pain." Wouldn't it be good if you wrote about your determination?</p>

<p>The pushing through the pain essay has been written one too many times. But, it would work for the 150 word EC essay.</p>

<p>yeah i heard it straight from an admissions officer "if you're a runner, don't write about pushing through the pain." of course you may have a new take on it and your essay may be amazing...but its much safer to write about something you know is original.
EC essay should be fine tho</p>
