match, these posts make me feel sad, you are so lucky to be in a school that have like honors science and honors foreign language must boost gpa a lot

^^typically, uw refers to 9-11, while your UC gpa (not weighted or unweighted) refers to 10 and 11 w/a cap on 8 sem. of honors credit…
therefore, your uw = 3.97ish/ w = whatev u said, and UC in ur case is the max 4.4

dontcha,
typically it is a 3.97, but i am applying for UCLA and that is why i said 4.0 since i was talking about my UC GPA. If i were asking my chances on lets say a non-UC school i would have put 3.97 not 4.0 but since i want to get in to UCLA i put 4.0

BTW, I don’t think a 4.4 is the highest you can get. If you take P.E. and a health class for sophomore and junior year, then your grade will go even higher. :P

Deadbeat, the average UCLA SAT is 2006. He has it beat by more than 70 points. His second best Subject Test is 30 points greater than the average of the best.
