I'm a senior with a 4.0 weighted, 3.7 unweighted gpa. I'm ranked in the top 1% of my class. My SAT isn't great, 1140/1740. I recently retook it and will take the ACT and SAT subject tests in December. I have few extracurriculars in school, and more extracurriculars outside of school, mostly athletic activities. I've taken the most challenging courses in my school, AP and honors. I have some academic awards. I have over 100 hours of volunteer. I've held the same job since junior year. I was also nominated to the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine, but couldn't attend due to personal reasons.

What are my chances for UT, UMich, Boston U, George Washington, Northeastern, Ithaca, Temple, and Stony Brook?

I'm looking to major in athletic training. Any suggestions of colleges? preferably in the northeast or just urban places.

Are you instate for Texas? Good chance at Northeastern, Ithaca, Temple, and Stony Brook although Northeastern has become more difficult to get into in recent years. Reach for UMich.

well i think bu is a little bit of a reach since they have such a large applicant pool...and stuff...same with gwu since they accept like somewhere in the 30s percentage wise? and you'd be in the lower 25th percentile of their sat scores...

towson univ in maryland would be like a match in terms of SATs and maybe more on the safety side in terms of gpa.. your list seems pretty good in terms of having matches and reaches.. UT is definitely a reach though.. my friend from texas just told me yesterday that UT is required to accept any student in texas who is in the top 10% of his or her class.. aka its VERY difficult to get in out of state, or in state if youre not in the top 10%... umich is also a reach bc of the SAT scores.. maybe you will do better on the ACT though, some people do! northeastern, temple, and ithaca seem like good fits
