Chances

Hi, everybody. I'd like to know my chances.

I'm applying as an eighth grader for a ninth grader.

My grades throughout middle school are mostly As. I'm sure I got good teacher recs. My interview so far went pretty smoothly. My application feels pretty strong. My essays so far are pretty good.

My ECs include violin, academic teams, NJHS, math teams, and many more. I have many awards, including academic such as math, language arts, social studies, and foreign languages, and other subjects. I don't want to give too much away yet, though.

My SSATs went pretty well in math and reading. I don't feel like I did that good in verbal, though. I should be getting my test scores back soon.

Thanks for replying. :-)

everyone here basically has a chance. you are obviously smart and hard working. the truth is that there are too few slots for us all. each school has to look at their needs and pull from the applications that come in. one year it is hockey players and the next it is the theatre program. it is really the luck of the draw depending on school needs and the pool of potential players. this sounds scary but i figure that i will give this my best shot as i think there is a lot i could bring to a school and a lot i could learn.
