<p>Student from Boston area, low, low GPA (2.87) but decent SAT scores (1810)
Applying to the film and television school. Strong essay and EC's.
Anybody have an idea as to where these stats may put me?</p>

<p>i's say LMU would be a reach for you only because their average GPA is 3.4 and the Film school is super competitive. it's still worth it to apply though because your SAT scores are in their range and great essays/ECs will help.</p>
<p>Ditto jdlex. I'd say your SAT is within range, and if your EC's and essays are kickbutt then LMU is a fair reach. Good luck! :)</p>
