I am worried about applying to Hamilton because of my essay subscore :6. I know Hamilton gives a big deal to the essay section. What should I do?
My other scores:
SAT 1(December 07)
2100 (Math 690, CR 750, Writing 660)

GPA
3.75/4

SAT Subject tests
Bio M 790
Math Level 2 760
Chemistry 700
Physics 690

AP Calculus AB 5, AP Environmental Science 4, AP Psychology 4

AP Scholar award, academic award in chemistry

EC: cross-country (varsity team), field hockey, committee member (science club), 1st place essay contest senior year, volunteer work at local hospital,

You have great test scores and ECs, but that is only part of the battle. Hamilton places a lot of importance on interviews and the common app personal essay. Make sure that your essay is creative and really shows your true character.
But to be honest, no one really knows for sure, so give it a shot!!!
Good luck!

they have that whole weird test thing going, which involves taking a math test, an english test, and a third one (i think thats how it goes, but i would double check). if i'm right, it means they'd take your CR, which is a 750, math 2, which is 760, and 790 in bio, which is really good.
