I also have 3 really good letters of recommendation and I applied for the major scholarships.

So what are my chances?

Good luck. You seem kinda borderline to me. Prolly a 35 percent chance of gettin in:p

Chances at what, admission or the scholarship?

If it's admission, then you might get me going on the whole, "here comes another american who doesn't know anything about McGill including how to apply" rant. Regular admission only cares about your GPA and board scores.

If it's a scholarship, I don't think ANYONE here can really give you a fair estimate, as no one knows what they're really looking for, assuming you're above the cut-off mark.

If you're above the cut-off, all you know is you won't immediately get turned down. Worst comes to worse...you get a minor scholarship, or no scholarship at all?

If you need aid/qualify, check out their financial aid department/email some people on the 2nd to get an idea of what you need to do to become a recipient of a bursary.

Oh, and i was kidding about being borderline. I just get tired of everyone saying that they have great recs, great essays, great ECs etc.
