btw... I have 5 years of english classes (summer CC), and 5 yrs of Math classes (STATS summer CC) I applied as a Computer Science Major -thanks in advance.

High match/Slight Reach. SocioEconomic factors>low SATs, and he does have a pretty decent GPA. Still, its computer science, which is not as much a walk in the park to get into. Of course, is your GPA a UC GPA (tired of asking but w/e)?

I never said it was wrong either. A lot of people put up their cumulative and its decent/bad depending on whether or not they exclude freshman year. Also, don't know if this affects your grades, but maximum of 4 AP classes are weighed that way, and PE/non A-G classes are not counted.

I never said you didn't have a shot o_O;; That was shoefactory. I think you have a realistic chance to get into Irvine, but that that chance is a lot more shaky than someone with, say, a 4.2 and a 2300.

My sentiments exactly. You're in the same boat as probably thousands of other applicants that got into Irvine, and when Irvine's admit rate is in the high 60s... xD good luck.

I'm going to agree with ShoeFactory here. You're at a slight reach. You're numbers don't quite cut it for computer science. Did you choose a non-impacted alternate major?
