I can guaruntee glowing recs and a pretty good essay. Also, my mom is a single parent who only makes $28,000-30,000. Will my financial aid needs be met? Thanks in advance.

Please respond someone!?!?!

As a Bryn Mawr student I think you have a very good chance of being accepted. You have high SATs and good grade s and extra curriculars and seem like a student that Bryn Mawr would accept

Curl,
I think your chances are pretty decent. Your stats are nothing to sneeze at, and you seem like the type of student Bryn Mawr likes. Their financial aid is pretty good. They promise to meet 100% of demonstrated need. Good luck!

Well, I aw my transcript The other day, and there is a slight problem. I have a D in math, my weakest point, for junior year. However, I've gotten a B- for math so far this year. I also have still managed to get a reccomendation from the same teacher who gave it to me (who also happens to be my math teacher again this year for a different subject). Will this be enough to compensate?

I hope so, because my sophomore year I got a C in math and last year it was a B-.

Math is my weakest point too. :(

Bryn mawr looks like a safety for you.

Safety? Really?

Math is also a difficult subject for me; but I found as the year went on my grades progressively went up. Last year i started out with an 86 and went up to a high A by the end of the year (Honors Algebra 2 and Trig). This year I think I'll be getting a high C or low B for the first marking period, but being as half the students in the class dropped out, I think I'm proving my ability to work hard just by sticking with it. The class is Honors Pre-Calculus by the way which currently has 11 students in it out of the 171 in my class!
