Chances?

<p>Hi, i’m a senior applying and as of yet have not heard back from USAFA. I was wondering if any of you might know a) my chances of getting in and b) when i might find out. I live in Colorado and recieved my nomination to Air Force and my appointment to West Point. Went to all three Service Academy’s Summer Seminars. Am involved in:
Civil Air Patrol, Squadron Commander, rank of C/Maj.
Boy Scouts, Eagle Scout, Senior Patrol Leader
National Honor Society, Project Coordinator
Speech and Debate Team, Lettered
Swim Team, Captain 2 years, Lettered 4 years
Marching Band, Lettered
Cross Country Team, 2 years
Member of School Leadership Club
SAT: 670 CR, 690 M
ACT: 30 E, 30 M, 32 R, 29 SC<br>
GPA: 4.15
CFA: maxed sit ups and push ups, average scores other events</p>

<p>Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.</p>

<p>Lookin good, kiddo. You'll probably be getting your appointment pretty soon. Around 1,000 appointments are offered in March every year to the incoming class.</p>

<p>Yeah, that's understandable, but try not to worry too much...most of the people on these boards are overachievers anyway (ahem... hornet), even for an Academy. :)</p>

<p>yes duke, like they've said most (~1000 or more) of the appointments go out in march... enjoy your senior year! try not to worry too much bout it; it'll go by way too fast either way</p>

<p>Cobras strike first! And if you happen to wind up in Cobras Delta, you'll have the coolest 2nd BCT Flight Comm ever. (Actually, all your cadre would be pretty awesome.) :D</p>

<p>Not to derail, but when do you find out what BCT Squadron/Flight you're in? Is that all handled on I-Day or are people shuffled in beforehand?</p>
