Chances? :)

Right now I'm a sophmore, graduating in 2010. Am I heading in the right direction? I think I'm doing this right.

Freshman Year:
Weighted GPA: 4.0/4.3 (1st semester/2nd semester)
Unweighted: 2 B's in my honors, not sure the actual GPA.
Honors: English, Science
Extracurriculars: Junior Varsity Soccer
Class Rank: 19/232

Sophmore Year:
Weighted: 4.4
Unweighted: 3.8
Honors: English, Science, Math, and AP European History
Extracurriculars: Hospital volunteer (75+ hours), Key Club, Red Cross Club, California Scholarship Federation, Junior Varsity Swimming, French Club
Class Rank: 12/232

And next year I'm planning on taking AP United States History and AP English (those are the only AP's offered, I could take Chemistry at the college if I had to). I've been elected Key Club President and French Club secretary next year too, and I'm starting a Film club.

What are my chances of getting into:
UCLA (I live in California, if it matters, and this is my first choice)
NYU
Princeton
USC

Okay, I know the Princeton one is a reach, but just in case. :)
Other than that, I have no idea on any of my chances.
Haha, sorry if it was too long.

Thanks!

enjoy high school!

I don't know too much about the Cal. schools and its tough to chance without an SAT score, but you look like you are heading in the right direction (for a good school) with your ecs, gpa, courses, etc. Princeton is a reach for everyone.

Thanks. :D Anyone else?

keep it up, you'll get into any UC.

remember that freshmen year isnt included in your UC GPA

Get your rank up, continue your ECs, get leadership positions, improve grades meaning no Bs for sop and junior year, 2260+ SAT, and you have a good chance at Princeton.
