Chances?

Sorry to bother you guys with another chance thread but I am just really up tight about this college admissions process and need console.

GPA: 3.8 UW/ 4.2 W (IB diploma student)
Rank: N/A (very competitive high school that does not rank)
ACT: 33 comp
ECs: Varsity football, baseball and math team, captain of sophmore football team, baseball MVP, 100+ hours community service, tutor under privileged kids, counsel kids about drugs and peer pressure, various clubs (might be a few more I am forgetting)

I really appreciate your help!

what r the 2 subject test scores?

are you getting recruited for football?

No, I don't plan on playing collegiate football. Do I need subject test scores if I took the ACT? Becuase the ACT covers multiple topics.

Never mind, I just looked it up. I did not know that SAT 2 tests were required. I am strong in the math and sciences so I think I will do fairly well on a math and chem test.

Your GPA and ECs are good enough to get you "into the game." I don't really know what else to tell you... chances thread are kind of silly. You're qualified, I guess? It depends on how you really "sell" yourself in your essays, and how good your recs are.
Maybe try to raise your ACT score a bit, but if there's no real weakness in any of the subjects, I don't think that it matters that much.

Thank you very much for your insight. It feels good to know that at least I have a chance. I probably will not take the ACT again because my scores were pretty close in each section. I will work hard on my essays and I am fairly confident that I will get good recs.

i think if you submit the ACT you don't need subject tests

anyway, i got a 33 (but i also sent in my 1400/2100 sat and 800/780/730 sat IIs) and my EC involvement was around there. my gpa is a 4.0uw/5.064w and i got a likely letter :]

i believe it was my essays that got me that letter, though.

How did you get over a 5.0? Besides APUSH, my school doesn't start offering weighted classes until junior year and they are only out of 5.0.
