Please chance me, i know my scores suck, but would my ec's compensate for the crappy scores?

Definitely in!

I've seen kids with less qualifying credentials from NY and NJ. A 32 ACT is right in Miami's league and your'e GPA is UW, ecs are pretty solid!

By any chance, you at Great Neck South or Jericho? I'm originally from New York (Nassau Cty.) and have friends at Jericho, Roslyn, Half Hollows, Herricks, Syosset and Plainview-Old Bethage(I think).

BruinsJEW, I was reading other posts about chances and it seems like you're pretty knowledgable! What do you think the avg Miami GPA is for incoming freshmen?

When my dad was calling to follow up for me, he was told that most of the incoming Freshman had SAT scores on at least 1300. Also that this year has been by far the strongest applicant pool they have ever had.

This is the student profile posted on Miami's website. (Doesn't have a date so it is unknown which graduating class it reflects. Unfortunately it does not state unweighted GPA.) The link is below and I cut and pasted for you too.
