Chances?

<p>Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong spot, I'm new here... didn't see anything other chances posts... What are my possibilities of getting into Emory and can you tell me if it's possible if I'll get the Emory Scholar's scholarship? Thanks. </p>

GPA - Unweighted: 3.76
GPA - Weighted: 4.60
Class Rank: 45/297</p>

<p>SAT I Math: 720
SAT I Critical Reading: 780
SAT I Writing: 600</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
School Newspaper, NHS, Operation Smile</p>

<p>Leadership positions: Editor in Chief and Opinions Editor of school newspaper</p>

<p>Looking at your score, I'm sure you'll be accepted into Emory if you wrote a good essay, but I'm not 100% sure with the National Scholars Program, I know some who got the scholarship with lower grades than you, but then it seems that those who get accpeted into the program are ivy-league level students.</p>

<p>honestly, i don't think you have much of a chance for Emory Scholars. your rank is too low, your SAT isn't too impressive, and your EC's aren't helping you out much either.</p>

<p>on the bright side though, i don't think getting into emory should be a problem at all for you! :)</p>

<p>I was wondering because another kid from my school just recently got the National Scholar's Program with the exact same SAT scores as me (just Math and Reading swapped) and comparable rank and grades. I guess his EC's must be great. </p>

<p>definitely in... but I agree with the others, probably nix for Scholars. still apply though! you could get a Liberal Arts Scholarship which are still significant!</p>
