Chances???

Yep the typical my chances thread so here it goes:

I was wondering if you guys could tell me what kind of chances i have at schools like Stanford, Cornell, UPenn, Columbia, Northwestern and WashU.

I'm finishing my junior year in a super competitive public high school (Edina High in MN).

My course load through soph and junior years include:
Honor Precalc
Honor Chemistry
Honor Statistics and Trig
AP Euro - got a 4 last year
AP US Hist
AP Bio
AP Economic (will take both micro and macro in a week)

I've only gotten one A- and the rest are A's
My GPA is 3.98/4.23 (honors classes aren't weighted)

School doesn't rank but in Top 5%

I got a 33 the first time i took the ACT and a 34 the second time (35 English, 35 Math, 31 Reading, 34 Science)

I'm going to a summer program at UPenn were i could earn some credit in Engineering and business management. (Jerome Fisher Program)

I have a lot of volunteering but not of work. Should i get a job this summer??

Student Leadership Council and Student Representative on Edina City Council
JV Hockey and Soccer.

I was a Federal Reserve Essay Contest Finalist

Lettered on Math Team last 2 years and will more than likely be captain next year.

Will take 4 SAT II's: US hist, Bio M, English, Math II

Course load for next year looks like:
AP Physics
AP Government
AP Calculus BC
AP Spanish V
AP Computer Science AB

What else should i do this summer to make my application better???

Thanks a ton

You could get a summer job if you want. What volunteer work have you done?

I tutor English as a second language students at my high school and i tutor elementary students after school. I also have about 70 hours at an old folks home

I don't see anything really significant or outstanding in your ECs- you definitely need to develop that otherwise I would say your chances at the top ivies and Stanford are quite slim- to none. I would say Cornell, Northwestern, and WashU- you have a shot.

But remember, next year college admits are going to be cutthroat and good grades and test scores don't cut it (anymore). Sadly enough. =(
