<p>Um yeah, you'll get in. The only iffy thing is the ACT. Bring that up. </p>

<p>WPI isn't horribly selective.</p>

<p>and don't worry about bringing your test scores up because wpi is test optional</p>

<p>I thought WPI is test optional IF you submit other supporting material -- like a project or something. Am I not remembering that correctly from my son's info session & tour this past spring?</p>

<p>If you want to look at other colleges try:
Union
RPI
MIT (you have the average stats)</p>

<p>MIT seems quite unlikely for you, although it's worth a shot IMO. </p>

<p>RPI and Union are also good choices. May I recommend looking into: </p>

<p>University of Rochester
Rochester Institute of Technology</p>

<p>When applying to WPI, just send in your test scores, even if you send in projects too. It'll probably just be a lot easier.</p>

<p>Take a look at GA Tech
especially for mechanical/aerospace/electrical engineering.</p>
