off topic but i am about to attend a lead america conference (Global Business and Entrepreneurship) and was wondering how you felt about your overall experience?

It was a great experience. You get to meet amazing people and while personally, I didn't really learn that much about my topic (journalism), I learned a lot about leadership and life in general.

looks good frozen light

Everything looks great, I'm suprised you're using your early on NYU though (I think you can do better from an academic standpoint) as I don't think you would have a problem getting in RD, but I guess it's all about fit.

^ I guess its more like I'm really sure NYU is the school I want to be at, the other schools I'm applying to aren't as strong imo (BU, Syracuse, Emerson, Northeastern, Fordham, Hofstra) so unless I find another school that fits my requirements that's even better and more selective, I'll probably just apply ED to NYU.

frozen, I got into CAS/Journalism with 110 less SAT points and basically the same GPA, why wouldn't you apply to the journalism major in CAS rather than Steinhart? Great internships come out of the Journalism program, even though it's not one of the highest ranked in the country...can't beat the doors that are opened. I'm Knee-deep in a fabulous internship in my specific writing field, and I HAVEN'T STARTED AT NYU yet.

It was my first choice bar none (most of your list was my list as well) You should be a shoo in for those schools listed...If NYU is your dream, than cut your search short an apply ED (nothing is guaranteed) but If I had those extra 110 points on my SAT, I MIGHT entertained Northwestern, Chicago maybe Cornell...reaches yes...but so far your list has no reaches (something to think about...I would't have traded my spot at NYU CAS for any of them myself, but NYU was a reach for me!)

Good Luck (not that it looks like you need it)

^ I'm not interested in journalism actually, I'm interested in PR, which is why I'm applying to the communications programs at these schools. And my guidance counselor said NYU was a reach, LOL, although I don't think she really knows the differences between the schools (i.e. Stern would be a reach but maybe Steinhardt isn't). I have looked at Northwestern and Cornell, and though they are better schools, I just like NYU better lol. I may apply to one or both of them RD though.
