Reccs good and essay is good and intense

I would say that your chances at getting into Vassar look quite good... your ACT is right where it should be, your GPA & class rank are excellent, your classes look suitably challenging, and you have a very nice mix of several interesting extracurricular involvements. As always, I would recommend that you apply EDI or EDII if Vassar is your first choice. That being said, I also feel that you would have a good shot if you opted to apply RD. Best of luck!

My daughter has two girlfreinds, one going to Harvard and the other accepted at a top 3 LAC. Both were waitlisted at Vassar this year. We know that guys are more sought after than girls at most LAC's but it would seem that it is important to let Vassar to know the depth of your commitment.

I think that you've got a really good shot - what more could you do? lol
Is Vassar your top choice?

As long as your essay is strong and you do the yourspace submition, you're in (and being a guy helps, probably more than you think!).

Off topic, but how did you get certified as a pharmacy tech if you're still in high school?

I think it depends if anyone else from your hs is applying to Vassar. In my experience, 4 kids applied from my school. I was accepted, two were waitlisted, and one was rejected. If no one else is applying, I'd say you've got a pretty good chance, but if there are others applying it comes down to who vassar likes most. If you're thinking of applying ED, though, that changes things...
