I have already written my essay but am considering rewriting it. It is about a really intense experience i had during my mentorship in the emergency department when i saw a man die. Then it goes on to describe the conversation i had with the doctor afterwards and how instead of turning me off wanting to be a doctor, it strengthened my drive.

I enjoy athletics a lot and participating in school gov't. I want to be pre-med but also would like to dabble in foreign language, political science, econ and such. I want to study abroad or do research over years if economically feasable.
Any opinions on if I'm a good Kenyon fit and what my chances are, would be appreciated.
Cooper

Kenyon would most likely be a good fit for your interests. I see no reason for you not to apply, best of luck!

Hey Cooper, it's interesting how you seem to be interested in Bates and Kenyon at the same time. I was admitted to both schools for class of '12, but chose Bates over Kenyon.

Your regional status will really help you...but really focus on your essays. Thos essays both for Bates and Kenyon really really count. Good luck!

I think it's great that you live in Alaska and volunteered extensively for Obama. That definately made me laugh! If you don't like your original essay I would consider writing about volunteering for his campaign and what it was like in Sarah Palin's home state
