Strong upward swing in grades

SATs: CR - 720, M - 590(Horrible, but have taken again), W - 720 = 2020
SATIIs: US - 730, Bio - 700, Lit - 660 (only first two for obvious reasons)</p>
<p>I've never been that excellent of a math student, but I'm not going to major in anything close to math, but it makes my SAT score look worse than it really is.</p>

<p>lol dude i think u have a good chance...like 80 percent chance, u went to a good school and nothing is bad about ur app. ur math is a little low but i got a 560 in writing ( 780 math 650 CR) and i got in...i know someone that got a 1610 (application essay was only about how he dreamed about going to UCLA all his life) and he got in</p>
<p>Thanks for your responses, but I was wondering if my math, and kinda low SATIIs would like slaughter my application, considering how many UCLA gets, and their holistic application process.</p>
<p>the avg SAT II's for (im not sure if its admittance or ppl that are actually attending(which is better for u)) are 728 for the highest first score and 680 for the highest second score</p>
<p>I thought UCLA, and the UCs in general, liked in-state applicants more than they liked out of state? Since the fee for out of state is higher, wouldn't that be like a deterrent?</p>
<p>And on the subject of SATII, if the averages are ~730 and 680, then I'm alright then, right? With my 730 and 700</p>
