■■■■■…

Correct me if I’m wrong, no offense but is this supposed to be a joke? Because your statistics is probably the strangest I’ve seen in like…ever.

But my guess is: Nope

Hmm…how intriguing…

r u kidding or for real??..i really want to know…but honestly your gpa might kill u still

0% acceptance. Reason: do you even try in-school?

Your stats are almost exactly what I heard from this kid at Cornell Summer College, (2008).

Assuming you aren’t him, (if you are, SC2 is going to be great, get it and we can battlenet with everyone), I think if you can provide an explanation of your grades that isn’t “school is boring so I don’t give it any thought”, you’ll be fine.

how does he not have a chance?? PERFECT SAT AND ACT scores…

And so SC claims another otherwise high GPA student. I feel you’re pain and will see u guys on bnet.
If you say you got a 3.0 w/o playing video games then u are ■■■■■■■■.
But yeah I like collegehopefull’s comment

“I think if you can provide an explanation of your grades that isn’t “school is boring so I don’t give it any thought”, you’ll be fine.”

family problems.

for comparison:
2.0 gpa freshman - sophomore year
4.0 gpa junior - senior year

somewhere around those numbers, senior year isn’t finished obviously but so far…

What I don’t understand is:

Because of family problems, you totally dropped school work, yet, you still had time and effort to do all those extracurriculars (Football and track are not exactly an easy-timing sport) and got perfect SAT, SAT II, AND ACT.

If us students can notice this huge difference, what do you think the admission officers will say?

“Football and track are not exactly an easy-timing sport”
Correct. But my coach was aware of my situation, so I technically only played one game sophomore year and two freshman but remained on roster. Was a starter before though.

“and got perfect SAT, SAT II, AND ACT.”

 1. these are all junior year tests
 2. didn’t study for sat or act
 3. did work for sat II but this was mid-to-late junior year.

I had a full time job freshman/sophomore year, so not much time for anything then.

I think you will get in.
However, your stats are rather too impressive for some of us who bloody tried to earn a perfect score in the tests (even just one!) you have mentioned.
Same goes for your equally dazzling EC specifications.
Although you mean well, some people who are rather distraught with their own scores may misinterpret you and start making negative comments out of spite.
(Like myself, as I almost started to suspect that you had an ulterior motive of infuriating us rather than genuinely asking for our opinion)
Again, I daresay that you are all set. Just try to refrain yourself from making another careless comments like “didn’t study for sat or act”. Because as much as we try to be open minded about other users’ superior academic ratings, we’re always more inclined to be verbally aggressive than be dazzled. Especially in CC. Good luck,
Ciao

I’m sorry if I came across as presumptuous in my comment that I didn’t study. The intention of my comment there was not to boast, but rather to respond to a previous comment where it was implied that I in fact did have a lot of free time to study for the SAT and ACT, where in reality I did not. Thanks a lot for those of you who have chanced me and given me a good idea on where I stand.

lol how are people thinking this is legit. a) take a look at his awards: RSI, intel, siemens, USAMO, USCNO, and I’m guessing blah blah blah includes USABO and curing cancer, right?

Plus no one takes 8 subject tests combined with the fact that he still took the SAT/ACT after getting a perfect score…

“Plus no one takes 8 subject tests combined with the fact that he still took the SAT/ACT after getting a perfect score…”
I figured that this would be one of the best ways to make up for my lackluster gpa. Besides, don’t you need like 5 sat subject tests for higher up schools to even consider you? I’m not very familiar with the requirements but that’s what I was told.

You only need min. of 3 for Harvard. You need two to be safe for most colleges at Cornell. In some colleges, SAT IIs are simply recommended (however most students will submit).

atrium, i am in the same boat. (not nearly as impressive scores, but better ECs) I also had family issues and had to juggle 2 jobs, siblings, and family issues. Im a QB applicant

i hope we both get in. r u applying ED?

this is a Joke

how so bj? i was not joking…
