Chances?

chance me someone? Was going to post to the official thread but it looks a bit dead xP.

I'm an international student so can't calculate GPAs because I don't have my A-level results yet + we don't use the same grade system.

Pretty rigorous coursework.

SAT Reasoning Scores
CR - 800/Math - 760/Writing - 670

SAT II Scores
Literature - 740
Math II - 700

Applying to College of Letters and Science to read Political Science.

ECS:

Past 2 years: School Magazine/Writing Society Secretary, Class Rep, 300+ Volunteer Hours, Astronomy Club, Photographic Society, BioScience/Medical Internships

Got a bunch of stuff before that but can't be bothered to list :p

Accomplishments/awards:

Dean's List once for a subject (sorta like English)
Couple of school service awards

As long as you have higher than a 4.0 UC GPA, then you should be shoo-in for Berkeley. Your SAT1 and SAT2, ECs are good enough for L&S.

Bio/Medical internships but heading to PoliSci? :)

really? I’m pretty worried because it seems like Berkeley admits only a handful of international students ><. Thanks for chancing me.

Bio/Med internships done to please the parents mostly :stuck_out_tongue: but I argued my way into doing Pol. Sci/Law in the end.

If you don’t need financial aid, I’d say you got an okay chance. Berkeley enrolled quite a number of students from Singapore (30+?) last year anyway.
