<p>I know it's a long shot but I'm applying ED</p>

<p>-White Male
-Major in colonial history
-Small rural public school (750 total)
-Took toughest course load, only 1 AP offered
-GPA: 3.9(W), will be 4.2^ by end of semester
-Good recs
-85th percentile (will be in top 10% by end of year)
-President of national honors society
-treasurer french honors society, computer aide (officer) junior year
-treasurer of student council, class representative as a junior
-50+ hrs community service
-Working on a year-long local history project from a federal grant for school, went to ohio u for a week during summer for training
-varsity basketball(1 year of freshman, 2 years of JV-team captain last year)
-Mock Trial (2 yrs)
-Vice President of Friendly Sports Rivalry Committee (student-based sportsmanship committee for our school's conference which has reps from 10 different schools)
-Played guitar for 5 years
-Worked 2 summer jobs and currently working this school year(20 hrs/week 30-50 hrs/week both summer jobs))
-SAT: Reading-610 Math-600 Writing-620
-ACT:27 (just took it again, think i did better)</p>

<p>presuming you're out-of-state, although that shouldn't matter too much for w&m:
your gpa and leadership abilities are strong (especially with going to such a big school & holding that many positions), and if your ACT score improves you actually may have a good shot, about 50%.</p>

<p>Out state actually matters very much for W&M as it is a state school.</p>

<p>Out of state you are a reach probably with those SAT scores but being a male will help a lot</p>
