Please let me know my chances of getting in. I am an out of state student and this is one of my top choices. I have a 3.5 gpa with honors classes and a couple AP at a highly competitive high school and i have not taken my SATs yet. My extra curriculars seem pretty good:

FBLA club
Varsity golf
Stock market club
Interact club
100+ hours of community service
2 years of jv soccer freshman and sophmore year
latin club (this year)

Beware; the average merit scholarship is 2 k, so finances could be a problem. (I'm an OOS applicant too, and though I got accepted here a week ago, I have NO idea if paying for it is even possible.)

redsmileyface, when did you submit your application? I'm curious how long it took you to hear back. My daughter applied in the last week of October.

sorry, haven't checked back here in a while!

It took me less than a week to figure out that I was accepted (use Duckweb.uoregon.edu: it shows your admission status and it's very well updated) but the letter following admission just arrived a few days ago.

Still waiting for Clark Honors acceptance though. Meh.

Thanks. My daughter hasn't gotten a login ID for duckweb yet, so I guess she'll just have to keep on waiting for a while longer. She also applied to CHC. Last year they didn't make CHC acceptance decisions until the spring, even for the early applicants. The honors college wanted to wait to get all their apps in (up the regular decision deadline, which is in January, if I recall) before they made decisions on any of them.

Maybe this year they'll do it differently.... but I'm doubtful.

@ theredsmileyface: I have had my DuckWeb ID for a month now, and nothing has changed on my application status (I have everything turned in). I also applied to CHC, and I have heard nothing from either UO or CHC. Do you think there is a flaw in the system or they are just taking a really long time on my application? Maybe their reply got lost in the mail, because I received a letter yesterday about the SRD visit (it was dated the day earlier). I'm also an OOS student.

I'm also an OOS student (Alabama lol). I haven't finished my application yet. Do teacher rec letters have to be turned in before you hear from UO? I know they do for CHC.
