i applied ED to upenn, but i dnt think i'm gonna get in lol so binghamton is my backup (hopefully if they accept me!!)

Pretty impressive stats but what are your test scores? Depending on your test scores, you might even get accepted UPENN and definitely Binghamton.

i got all 5's on the tests i took except frickin chemistry i got a 1 loll...and i did realllyyy bad on my standardized testing...i didnt even send out my sats cause they were embarassing haha i got a 26 on my act

I don't know what the admissions offices are like at any state school right now, but in my opinion you have a good chance at getting into Binghamton. A 26 ACT is just within the middle 50% for Binghamton but those were last year's numbers. Your class rigor and GPA should make up for it because Binghamton tends to do a more "thorough", if you will, evaluation of the application (ie.Not all about test scores, GPA, course rigor, ECs). I think you have an even greater chance if you are out of state. If you really want to, there is still time to prepare for the Dec. ACT.....you will be amazed at how much prep can increase your score. I got a 27 on the ACT,I have done 2 complete practice tests and I'm around a 29. I feel that after I do a couple more I should be able to hit a 30. The admission's office at Binghamton assured me that my Dec. ACT scores would reach them in time for RD consideration if I get deferred from EA. Plus, people on here act like it is more difficult to get into Binghamton than it actually is. Don't get me wrong, it IS difficult and this economy could change everything but you would be amazed if you saw some of the kids that got accepted last year from my school. Anyways, good luck!
