Chances?

<p>I'm a junior in high school and I just want to see if I'm on the right path for VT (I'm in state)</p>

<p>SAT: Math-630 Writing-450 Reading-480 (I know I have to get that reading and writing up)
GPA: 3.5
2 AP and 2 Honors so far
AP US History
AP Literature and Composition
Honors English
Honors Chemistry
Also taking Algebra III w/ Trig and Spanish 4</p>

<p>Football (1 year)
Swim Team (3 years - Lettered first two years and probably will this year. Also went to regionals first two years and probably will this year)
RSL Swim Team for 11 years</p>

<p>To be honest, Vtech is a number oriented school. Your SAT's are too low and your GPA is average. But you are only a Junior so you have time to improve both. Good luck!</p>

<p>guillaume is right. You need to concentrate on improving that verbal score but also try to get your GPA up to at least a 3.7. Keep taking the hardest courseload you can next year. Several GC's have told me that a 3.7 uw is kind of the separation mark for applicants. I commend you for being involved in so many activities, but at VT I don't think they consider them much. Too many applicants to review. Good luck to you!</p>
