It is hard, but if you get into the university, you're in the engineering college with your stats.

if i went to the basic college of arts&sci, could i take classes from the school of engineering?

........anyone know?

If you want engineering apply there and not to A&S.

You may end up behind, time/classwise if you start out there and try to transfer to Engineering.
