chances?

<p>I was wondering if any of you would be able to tell me what are my chances at nyu cas? </p>

<p>I am a Junior in a very competitive texas school.</p>

<p>GPA: 4.45 unweighted/ most likely a 3.7 weighted</p>

<p>SAT: 2080 (will retake) and has a 1450 in old sat</p>

<p>SATII's: 750U.S History, math:760 bio:730, whist 740</p>

<p>APs: Last year i took 2 AP's, this year I am taking 6 AP's, next year I will be taking another 8.</p>

<p>Courseload: Very Hard</p>

<p>Rank: 53/845</p>

<p>Other Factors
-until high school attended a gifted school

<p>you will probably get in. nyu is getting really selective because of its "#1 dream school" status and the fact that so many people apply now!!! u might want to work on your class rank bc that seems like your weak point</p>

<p>Does your new SAT I actually come to a 1450 using the old system? </p>

<p>If NYU is your first choice, you might want to sersiously consider applying ED, it will increase your chances.</p>

<p>This notion is not exclusive to NYU. It's easier to get into pretty much any school ED. It's logical-- there are more seats available in the early decision round, and you're making a binding committment to attend if accepted (so the college won't have to worry about yield numbers and cross admit battles).</p>
