Chances....`

Okay, so I admit I used to find these chance threads very annoying and it seemed like everyone posting just wanted acknowledgment of their amazingness and were fishing for compliments, but I am so sick of waiting that I'm wondering if someone could chance me for Stanford......okay, here I go:

I suppose I'm posting here because the Princeton forum seems a bit more lively than others. Thanks for reading this!

SAT I: 2200
GPA uw: 3.87
-I don't know rank, but I go to a competitive college prep school in St. Paul, Minnesota and have taken the most rigorous course load available and plan to take another math class this summer (which I noted in my "additional information" section).

Varsity sports:
Soccer - 4 years (all conference 3 years, captain senior year, top GPA on team - academic excellence award)
Basketball - 4 years (captain 2 years, all-conference 3 years, about 1,700 pts. in career - all-time leading scorer @ my school)
Track -4 years, various awards, all-conference 2 years, hold 1600m record (but just for girls haha).

EC:
Math Club (club leader 11, 12)
Science Club (leader 11, 12)
MOSAIC Diversity Club (leader 11,12)
Environmental Club (Leader 11,12)
Amnesty International
Tutors' Guild

300+ hours of community service (including service trips to Mexico and Tanzania, wrote about Tanzania for CommonApp essay)
-various projects on my reservation; raise money and awareness at my school

Jobs:
US Soccer certified referee - grade 8 (since 10th grade)
job at German Christmas store since beginning of 11th grade

Essays:
I really liked all of them. As I said, main one is about what I learned in Tanzania.
IV: my math teacher in 10th grade (who is now part of the Peace Corps in Tanzania)
Roommate: About MOSAIC and my being Native American and what I have learned from both and how I have shared this at my school.
Why Stanford?: I love this one...I felt like it was personal, but also showed that I had seriously researched Stanford and discovered it as a perfect fit.
<--If you want to read any of these, just PM me and give me some feedback.

Other Factors:
American Indian and quite involved with my tribe. I've spoken with Stanford's "liaison" to Native applicants quite a bit, developed a quite good relationship, I don't know if this helps at all, but I'm pretty sure she is on the adcom.

Chance me for these schools as well (if you want to):
-Washington University in St. Louis
-Duke
-Northwestern
-Vanderbilt

Stanford and WU are my top choices for sure. Also, do you think I have any chances at getting invites to any of these schools "multicultural weekends" or a likely letter? I dunno.....any input is appreciated! Wado!

What do you guys think? And, honestly, I am not trying to fish for compliments, I'm just very anxious! Thanks for reading this and good luck to all!!
dpattzlover is online now

Dude you're Native American? In light of that, you should NOT rejected from ANYWHERE with those stats.

Thanks for the input!

yea, if everything here is as it is, you will undoubtedly be accepted. you seem to have everything working for you :)

Thanks for reading this!

From dpattz on Harvard thread: Hey, so I'm posting this on here because Harvard seems to have a very lively forum!

From dpattz on Princeton thread: I suppose I'm posting here because the Princeton forum seems a bit more lively than others.

Well, both are, are they not? Look at the number of posts on both of them....anyways, why do you care what I do? I'll stop posting, I really do need to, but I don't really know why you are so fussed.....?

So, um, why are you posting about Stanford chances in the Princeton thread?
