<p>Hey everyone...heres my stats, i wanna apply to UVA...im a guy so im gonna pull out all the stops to get into the school...meaning id prob apply to the nursing program and just do pre-med...same classes anyway, what do you think my chances r </p>

<p>I also do alot of extracurricular stuff including:</p>

<p>Ambulance Corps for Fresh, soph, junior, and senior year (over 1500 hours of community service) achieved NYS certification through a 4 month course) I have been Secretary of the youth corps there, 1st Liutenant, and now captain. Also got a County Award for most exceptional youth corps of the year from county EMS and several recognition certificates from state senators, congressmen, and town politicians and doctors for my work in EMS. I have a few life saves...idk if i can add that to supplement my application. </p>

<p>started a youth chapter of the American Red Cross of Greater New York...first ever in my county we organize blood drives and do courses for the little ones (more community service in addition to the 1500), it has become one of the biggest clubs in my school</p>

<p>JSA for 2 years, president and vice president of Engineering Club for 2 years, President of Red Cross for 2 years, National Honor Society for a year, science achievement award, Social Studies achievement award (3 years), Math National Honor society (Mu Alpha Theta), Spanish Honor Society. Citizenship Award, Whos Who Among American HS students (3 years). I also played hockey for 2 years in HS, physics bowl....im also gonna have exceptional essays and reccomendations</p>

<p>o damn sry i forgot to mention that...im from NY highly competative Public school, my GPA is a 3.9, it was pretty constant 9th 10th and 11th, however it did go up 11th when i took AP's. im gonna graduate with 8 AP's or sumthin</p>

<p>I agree that it's a big reach. Try to get the SAT up a couple hundred points, and, if you're 100% for UVA, apply ED.</p>
