Chances?

Okay, so I'm a senior in high school and I'm wondering if I can get into Rice. Here's what I got:

4:23 GPA
-6 AP classes
-SAT: 2150 (Math: 750, CR: 740 Writing: 660)
-ACT: 32
-2 year varsity football player (My junior year we were National Champions, and this year we ended up 23rd in the nation. I'm too small to play in college)
-Helped start a school program to teach underclassman about racial discrimination and stereotypes and their harms (I'm white)
-This summer got accepted into the Air Force Academy's Summer Seminar, a weeklong seminar that only 300 kids out of like 2000 got into
-Member of NHS
-Worked a couple of job here and there, such as coordinating halftime entertainment for the San Franciso 49ers and doing software conversion for a small business
-live in California

I already got accepted into Notre Dame, but want to go to Rice. What do you think?

Looking good… you have a good chance. Just wait like a week.

Doubt you’ll get in. Expect that small envelope in a week.

You’ll know in 5 or 9 days…

No one can say what your chances are. It’s just their opinion. Good Luck!!

Your stats look good. I would say you are middle of the road as far as acceptances. So what are the obvious things that would bump you up? Do you have any hooks? Did you write an amazing essay, get outstanding teacher/couns recs? Did you show them who you are, that you know and love the school, wanted to be there? Why would they pick you, over say, the other 2000 applicants more or less just like you? What made you stand out?

^ mesenfants post pretty sums up what i was going to say. I have stats similar to yours and i DEFINITELY showed that im interested
