please chance me for gwu and other schools you feel will be a match/reach or safety
my SAT will go up to atleast 2100

Your GPA will really help you - if you get that SAT up, you should be a match.

I was reading the acceptance threads thinking, uh, I don’t think I’m going to get in… even though I’m visiting on Saturday.

im seeing lots of ppl with ur stats getting in and people with stats like me not getting in. its a toss up.

dubaibliss what are your stats?

i forgot to mention that my school doesn’t offer much but im taking hardest classes possible all honors and whatever ap’s we offer plus im enrolled at a local comm coll and university and i take classes from there too if that changes anything

Your GPA is excellent. It would obviously increase your chances if you are able raise your SAT, but you should still have a great shot to get in even if you don’t.

I got in this year with a 4.0 weighted and a 2120 SAT I.

Good luck!

thanks!
did you do anything in particular to prepare for reading or just practice? ive been doin well on math and writing practice sections but reading just kills me

Actually math was my worst section. (CR 730, M 680, W 710) I am just better in English than in Math, and I lucked out in that the SAT math is pretty basic.

The best advice I can give you is to familiarize yourself with the test, particularly the types of questions they tend to ask on the grammar section.

btw im in foreign language club too … in french 4 this year … and goin on a class trip to France in a day with EF Tours
