Next year I'm taking AP english and AP US history; I plan to major in english or journalism (whichever is available and compatible with the career I want to pursue). Is two AP's not enough? My guidance counselor recommended that I don't take the AP senior classes...
My current gpa is a 3.6 (unfortunately, it would be higher if gym was not factored into the gpa) and i got a 1730 on my PSAT. I'm studying consantly to score better on the SAT that I am taking in May.
My first choice is Binghamton, but I am starting to look around more and I like Cornell a lot. Both of these schools are highly competetive, I know, and to me, my chances do not look great with my current scores. Does anyone have an opinion? About my chances in those schools or alternate options? I have to go to a SUNY school due to my financial situation.</p>
