chances?

<p>Hey guys, im a junior in high school and will be applying to JMU later this year..</p>

<p>out of state
not ranked yet but most likely top 10%
GPA: My school doesnt do it out of 4.0, i have a 93 unweighted, over 100 weighted
SAT: 1290/1600 1900/2400 (taking them again in May)
math: 690
eng: 600
writing: 610
ACT: 29 (32 reading, 31 math, 30 science, 24 english) taking them again in June</p>

<p>All honors classes, some APs, college level accounting, u.s. history, and english
National Honor Society
ASL Honor Society (american sign language)
3 years varsity tennis
bunch of clubs (key club, FBLA, model congress)
large involvement in BBYO</p>

<p>I would say your chances are very good. My son was admitted, last year, OOS, 90 overall GPA, 1260 SAT’s. Good Luck.</p>

<p>Also, i have taken 6 years of ASL (American Sign Language), and i know that JMU does not accept that as a foreign language. Has anyone else taken ASL and gotten in/is it a problem?</p>
