<p>Asian american (Bangladeshi) Expected major is chemistry. I am currently a sophomore in high school. I go to a medium sized school in KS, not really competitive or anything. Our school offers only 5 AP classes, but I'm taking all of them at some point. I'll list my stats below.</p>

<p>SAT: 730 critical reading, 730 math, 770 writing
ACT: Hoping for 33 this year
GPA: 4.0 UW, 4.385 W
Rank: 1/~200
EC's: 100 hours at local Salvation Army, 2 summers volunteering at the hospital, Key Club, Math Club, Scholars' Bowl (Captain and member of 2005 State Championship team), 4 year varsity tennis player, Philosophy Club, Co-founder of Historical Film Society, Member of library youth advisory committee, Spanish Club, National Honor Society (President)
Awards: 3rd in state Spanish I, 1st in state Spanish II, High scorer in Kansas on AMC 12, Member of 2005 State Scholars' Bowl Champion team, Numerous 1st place finishes in local math competitions</p>

<p>a) if you're a sophomore. you shouldn't be worrying about college. well, you should never worry about college, but college shouldnt be anywhere near the top of your priority list right now
b) you sound like you'll get in.</p>

<p>I'm pretty sure that you'll get in. MAKE SURE THAT YOU SHOW INTEREST IN THE INTEREST IN EMORY!!!</p>

<p>Dude if you're a sophomore college should be nowhere near your top priority, or even on the list at all. The first time I ever went to anything Emory-related was one of their hotel receptions in September of junior year, and after that was the hotel reception in September of senior year. You should focus on your standardized testing before college enters your thought process.</p>

<p>But.. your stats are incredible, and I think you will have no problem getting in, especially if you do ED. Best of luck.</p>
