SAT II Math Level 1 will not be counted as significantly as the level 2, but your chances for NYU ( CAS??) are pretty favorable.

College of Arts and Sciences

Don’t apply ED to NYU unless you’re dead set on it. Several reasons:

A) You need FA and NYU isn’t really the generous of schools.
B) Your GPA is high enough (assuming you take tough courses) to aim higher.
C) If you retake your SAT (math and writing are easy to improve), you’re Ivy League material.

Good luck.

you’re getting in. and i agree with the above comment, if you retake the SAT’s you’re ivy status. But if money is an issue, be sure to rack up scholarships/grants since NYU is one of the most expensive schools and the least generous one in terms of Financial aid. did you look into columbia?

thanks,

I don’t really want to go to an ivy league. I’m interested in pre-med and am worried that the ivy league would just be too competitive. From what I understand classes are on a curve; I would rather be near the top of that curve than in the middle. NYU financial air reputation is troubling. Money is a very a large issue. I won’t be able to justify going to NYU over Chapel Hill (in-state) unless they give me a lot of money.
