How do you think I measure up for these schools?

White female, legacy at Rice.

bump please

I think Stanford is a long reach because of your SAT/SATIIs (but you said you plan on retaking them), but I think you’ve got a solid shot at Claremont Mckenna, Pomona, and Chapel Hill definitely. You have a ton of leadership that doesn’t seem to be the normal leadership things, which is good. :)

Pomona- low reach
UCSD- In
Stanford- Reach

hmmm. Your scores are a little low, but not TOO bad at all. I say Stanford is a big reach. Duke, UVA, and Chapel Hill are reaches, but def not impossible. Emory is a high match/low reach. Match/in everywhere else. :)

Emory might be a reach for you, because of your SAT scores. However, you could probably get into Emory if you wrote a fantastic essay, even with your current SAT scores.
