<p>Scholarships at Miami are not cut and dried or guaranteed. The cutoffs may qualify/disqualify you but do not absolutely guarantee anything. I know of many people who “qualified” and were not offered any merit money.</p>
<p>That is very true. They also seem to be more generous in Early Decision/Action.</p>
