chances?

<p>I am a rising senior at an extremely competitive private all girls school in the midwest. I was wondering if anyone would help chance me? </p>

<p>GPA- 3.5 UW, with upward rising trend
SAT-1860 (I know, I'm retaking and taking the ACT -yikes)
SAT II- English 680
APs- AP English Language (5), AP Comparative Gov, AP US Gov (junior year, my school only allows APs 11th and 12th grade)
this year: AP European History, AP Psychology, AP English Literature</p>

<p>looking to major in English Literature with a minor in Russian.</p>

<p>Extracurriculars- Participated in club/highschool swimming 9,10,11, with 18 hrs a week devoted to that. Varsity letter all years, state finalist in DII my 10th grade year, MVP 10th grade year, All CCL, All Districts</p>

<p>Choir member, 9, 10, and was in 9th grade ensemble, Choir went to Districts and participated in the Festival of Gold in Chicago in 10th grade</p>

<p>Member of Islamic Cultural Club, 11,12 (it began 11th grade)</p>

<p>Jobs- Summer 07, I lifeguared at a Country Club, took gym classes summer 08, this summer I am lifeguarding at a waterpark by my home</p>

<p>Will probably get a job senior year</p>

<p>Reccieved second honors this year, and last year, AP honors (or something similiar)</p>

<p>Co-Founded club, Behind the Iron Curtain, to raise awareness of poverty/drug trafficking/situation in eastern europe in the former communist bloc</p>

<p>My essay (not completely finished) is about my grandfather's experiences in communist Lithuania, and how I reacted to his death, etc. </p>

<p>I also think I am going to interview, and I am applying ED.</p>

<p>Everything looks good except for your SATs. Nowadays its 2200+. Suggest you work really, really hard on this. OR you could just do really well on your ACTs (as in 33) and not send in your SATs.</p>
