PSAT: enough to make national merit

<p>I'm a Dartmouth 05 and I don't think you need to take the SAT's over. Admissions office likes 800s, so if you can get 800s, go ahead and retake them, but really, 770 and 790 aren't that different. </p>

<p>It's good that you did sports for all seasons and for all years.. they will definitely see that committment.<br>
According to your list, it's unclear what kind of background you are from... and admission office cares about that a lot.<br>
Either case, essays will decide your fate, and you should demonstrate that you can think and you can contribute to Dartmouth society. They want to see clear picture of who you are, because they get thousands of applicants who have great credentials, but remain rather faceless.</p>

<p>Itsnotthesame has a point about the 800's. Although I do not think you should have to take them again, I have some friends who didn't get into Dartmouth this year and their college counselors said Dartmouth really likes 1500's (2250).</p>
