Hi guys, this is my first post on the CC forums.
I am a junior at a school in Connecticut. It was recently named a Vanguard school, the only public HS in the state to receive that honor.
-My GPA is 3.96 on a 4.0 scale.
-I have taken 2 AP classes so far, Bio in sophomore year and US History in Junior year (got 5 on both). I am taking 5 AP's in Senior year.
-SAT's (it pains me to post these scores) 750M, 650 R, 640W 10E
-SAT2's 780 Molec. Bio, 760 Math 2, 660 US Hist
-In all three years I have taken honors classes for every class it was available.
-I recieved the Science Award for my grade in sophomore year.
-I am doing an Independent Study in C++ programming in senior year.
-EC's: Junior and Senior class treasurer, Spanish Honors Society, NHS junior (will be president in senior year), sports all three years so far, every season too, I have been in the Civil Air Patrol for 5 years (.: The Civil Air Patrol :.) and currently hold a rank that is equivalent to an Eagle Scout Award in the Boy Scouts (CAP is a civilian auxiliary of the Air Force).

I think I want to be an engineer (electrical or biomed) or something like Molec. Bio or Biochem.

My rough list of schools so far is Worcester Poly Tech, Renssalaer, Cornell, UConn, Brown, Northeastern, Carnegie Mellon

I may not have a good balance of safeties, matches and reaches but if you have any suggestions let me know!
Thanks all.
