Chances

<p>Just visited GW and loved it, so I figured I'd do a chance thread.</p>

<p>Caucasian Male from an extremely competitive, well-known private high school just outside Philadelphia.</p>

<p>GPA: 4.13 W, 3.78 UW
High School does not rank, but most likely top 5-10%
SAT (superscore) - CR:700, M:720, W:750
Subject Tests - Chem:760, Math2: 740, USH: 740
Possible Majors: Economics, International Affairs, Poli Sci</p>

<p>try to do something about your ECs.not sure is different from anyone else applying, despite your good marks</p>

<p>You’re right. The only thing a little bit unique about me was my 2 week trip to Bolivia, but that’s about it. As my ECs stand now, any opinion on my chances?</p>

<p>the only reason why I have a hard time telling you you have great chances, is because your stats are great, but if you had better ECs, yes, you’d be in. With the ECs as for now, GW would assume that this is your safety school and that you have other schools higher in the rank in mind such as Gtown. Prestigious State Schools will accept you in no time.</p>

<p>I love DC, and Georgetown was just OK when I visited, not really what I was looking for. GW is my #1 choice as of now. I would apply ED to GW to clearly show my interest, but it’s just so damn expensive and I need FA to go there.</p>
