How did you get those 2000 hours?

Your GPA is a bit low for CAS. So is your SAT score.
What about your SAT II’s?
How is your essay? Your Rec’s?

I would say it’s a reach, a high one.

I disagree … while your GPA and SATs are a bit low, I think it is a reach but not necessarily a high one. If your essay, rec’s and SAT II’s are good, you could also have a chance at GSP.

whats GSP? Bump anyone else… Im also taking the SAT again.

I would say that NYU is a low reach, although I can see them putting you in LSP.

GSP stands for general studies program, but has recently been renamed Liberal Studies Program. Google it.

Thx, bump…

your stats are fairly solid; i’d said u hv a decent shot at CAS, if ur LORs and essays are good (the urm could very possibly work in your favor). If anything else u’d be placed into lsp.

Im sorry but im not understanding this, is LSP a good thing or a bad thing, also i want to study finance but take the requirements for med school. Whats LORs? Im sorry if im not understanding im from Florida.

Bump Bump… Also do I have a chance at stern? I dont want to go corporate but I love finance. Should i just go CAS.

I would say even CAS would be a reach.

If I improve my sats to 1300 would that improve my chances to Stern (or CAS, hows their economics program). I think i could get an 800 in math and at least a 620 in reading. Does NYU count the 1st semester of my senior year, because ill have a 3.5 by then.
