I’m working on it. The GPA should increase as I keep taking college classes which are weighted as AP (Im taking college level lit, microeconomics, algebra, and government) this semester.

Here is the problem. Once you have an AA, you are looked at as a transfer rather than a FTIC (first time in college), and you are held to a higher standard. For the major you declare, you will need to be on tract for that academic map at FSU. If the 3.5 is a weighted GPA, and any one of your subscores on your SAT is not at least 500, you will have a challange getting in as a freshman. If you have a great (ie unweighted) community college gpa AND an AA degree AND you are on track for your MAP for your major, you will get in as a transfer with junior standing.

I thought so too.
However since I took my all my classes during high school, I will still be considered a freshman. The classes will transfer, but I am still looked on as a freshman and not a junior.

If I take 12 credit hours worth of classes AFTER I graduate I will be considered a transfer.
All my sat scores on the June SAT are 500+. On october I am aiming for 650+ on all.

:)
My college gpa is what I am working on now, kind of low, but after this semester should be in the 3.3, 3.4 range.

Yeah, you don’t apply as a transfer. You apply as a freshman with an AA. There’s some option for that on the freshman application, I think. You will still be treated like a transfer with an AA though.

If you’re going in with an AA, you have to make sure you meet the prereqs for your major. I’m 100% sure of that. So if you have not taken the prereqs for political science or accounting, then I don’t think they will accept you. Or maybe on conditional terms. idk, but I do know you need to satisfy the prereqs before matriculating.

So if you’re applying for accounting, you have to have completed these courses:
ACG X021 (3) Introduction to Financial Accounting
ACG X071 (3) Introduction to Managerial Accounting
CGS X100 (3) Microcomputer Applications for Business
ECO X013 (3) Principles of Macroeconomics
ECO X023 (3) Principles of Microeconomics
MAC X233 (3) Calculus for Business & Non-Physical Sciences
STA X023 (3) Business Statistics

If you’re applying for Political Science, you must have these completed:
POS X041 (3) American Government
POS XXXX or INR XXXX or CPO XXXX (3)
…which is not much at all.

My major is accounting, the only reason I’d consider PoliSci at FSU was because it is in Talahassee (Capital internships!)

At my school, instead of ACG2021, we take ACG2001 and ACG2011.
In ACG2001, I got a B
ECO2013, I got an A.
Im taking ECO2023 atm, I pretty much know for sure I’m getting at A.
I’m taking POS2041, and ‘should’ get an A.

Next semester I will take ACG2011 and 2071, along with CGS2100 and STA2023. I should have everything BUT calculus.
