Chances?

Hello, I’m currently a high school senior looking to apply to Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. I was just wondering if someone could offer me some insight as to what my chances might be at this time. Numbers…

UC/CSU GPA: 3.315 (Subject to change due to a raise in English 3AP grade)
SAT Composite: 1900
Math: 560
CR: 660
Writing: 680

I’ve realized Cal Poly cares almost nothing about extracurriculars, which I’m disappointed to find, but here’s what I have, anyway.

Marching Band - 9th-12th Grade
Drumline Section Leader 10th-12th Grade
Jazz Band Percussionist 9th-12th Grade
Newspaper - 11th-12th Grade
Photojournalism Editor - 12th Grade

I left out a few minor things, but you get the idea. I’m looking to go into Art or Graphic Design, and seeing as Cal Poly is a business/engineering school, I’m also wondering if that gives me any edge at all.

Any help is much appreciated, and thanks for reading in the first place!

-Matt

(Note: this is a duplicate thread; I posted it considering the chance of someone who knows more about Cal Poly seeing it.)

I’m a freshman here in Cal Poly and I think you may have a chance. If you could increase your GPA a bit more, then it might make it more definite.

u might be able to pull through

Take the ACT.

Just updating, after a couple grade changes, my UC/CSU GPA is 3.50. I sent in my application for Early Decision, under Graphic Communications. Fingers are now crossed. =)
