<p>SAT: 1830..600 W/620 CR/610 M ive only taken them once, but took them on saturday and expect a huge jump because of a tutor and practice test..hopefully around a 2100. but i know that this is another weakness of mine. and that a 2100 may not even be competitive.</p>

<p>if you (1) presented your ECs well, and (2) get your SAT score up to where you think it might go, you will have a fair shot. Not the best chance, but not automatically in the ‘no’ pile.</p>

<p>W&M considers a wide variety of factors: course rigor, grades, standardized test scores, extracurricular involvements, letters of recommendation, an essay, and other personal qualities. It sounds like you’ve been successful in the classroom in a rigorous program which is a good start. Your personal qualities (extracurriculars, essay, your background/life experience) are a very important part of the review process so sharing those factors which make you unique (such as your sexual orientation) help the Committee get a more three-dimensional picture of who you are and what you might contribute. Because there are no minimum criteria, you’ll never know unless you try!</p>
